Before Marleen decided to pursue her dream and study obstetrics, she spent 15 years working in a pharmacy, as a pharmacy assistant and as a pharmacy practice manager. In 2021, right after graduating, she joined our team.
What I love about midwifery?
Being a midwife is a dream come true. As a teenager I already wanted to become a midwife, but due to circumstances it didn't work out that way. I am glad that I am now able to practice this fantastic profession and enjoy the contact with clients every day. Guiding a delivery is a gift every time!
In addition to being a midwife, I am a mother of three teenagers. My second son was born at lightning speed - and in the membranes! In my free time, I like to sleep in and read books. On vacation, I prefer to go to Austria to go on long mountain hikes with my family.
