Being born and raised in Brielle, after graduating in 2013 I still decided to swap Brielle for beautiful Rotterdam. I have been working with great pleasure at Zwanger&Zo since 2014 and have been able to bring hundreds of Zwanger&Zo babies into the world!
The most extraordinary delivery?
The most special childbirths I have attended are those of my own sister. But every birth is special and it is an honor to be present at such an intimate moment.
After working as an obstetrician, I found my passion in ultrasound. I think it is important to keep developing as an obstetrician and that is why taking the training to become a structural ultrasound technician was a great next step. I like the alternation between the medical ultrasound's and pretecho's (sex determinations). You can also find me at the ultrasound clinic where it is my mission to offer expectant parents reassurance in those first exciting months.
Recharging from all those beautiful ultrasound's and deliveries I do by walking with my dog through the dunes or on the beach. I also enjoy running and my greatest achievement is finishing the Rotterdam marathon.
I am proud of our team because, despite our different qualities, we share the same vision and way of working. We are a close-knit team where everyone is aware of what is going on within the practice. Everyone is committed and genuinely interested in how our clients are doing and I hope you notice that as soon as you step into our practice!
